Turkey Creek

You can see the girls up ahead with Amy in the blue (Steve's little sister).

The spot we chose to enter the creek at.
There are several spots along the boardwalk with stairways leading down to a lower dock and the creek.  We chose one with shallow water to take the kids down to play.

The water is very clear and cold and maybe a current of 2-3 miles.

Tate tubing it.

Tyla, Ely and Steve Smith and the girls playing in the creek.

Today the girls and I met up with the Smiths for a fun outdoor adventure. This was our first time going to Turkey Creek but it will definitely not be our last.  The weather was super hot and humid as usual here in the Florida Panhandle and we meant to make the most of it, and I think we did.  The water may have been cold but it felt so darn good with how hot is was.  We were all sweaty and more than happy to play in the water by the time we had walked down to the shallow part of the creek.
